IOAN HAREA |
| Romanian, Canadian, Venezuelan Ioan Harea resides in Ottawa, Canada since 1986. He has performed his specialty program "CLASSIC GYPSY" with orchestras in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America, as well as on recital series and tours across Canada. Ioan Harea is the founder and leader of the Harea String Quartet and the Virtuosi Strings. Ioan is on the faculty of the Crane School of Music at the state University of New York, in Potsdam, New York. "SENTIMENTAL STRINGS" is the second of a series of five CD's to be recorded by Ioan Harea for Dark Skippy Records. Ioan Harea is represented by Virtuosi Productions. |

Brigitte Amyot |
| Brigitte Amyot has received degrees from McGill University in Montreal and from the University of Ottawa where she studied with Eva Lupas, Sonia Jelinkova and Calvin Sieb. Brigitte works as a free-lance musician in the Ottawa-Gatineau region and is a member of L'Orchestre de Chambre de Hull, Quebec, the Harea String Quartet and the Virtuosi Strings. Brigitte maintains a private teaching studio, offering individual and group lessons. |

Nancy Eadie |
| Nancy has been a prominent musician violin/viola teacher in the Ottawa-Carleton/Kanata area for the past 21 years. Known as a versatile free-lance musician, she performs with Virtuosi Productions, Orpheus Theatre, and the Orchestra of Northern New York and appears in many pubs and various local venues backing jazz and folk artists. Her love of music includes not only classical music but also folk and fiddling. Nancy is the proud parent of Dylan, Paul and Krystel. She cares for 2 cats, 16 tropical fish and the one and only Sandy. |

Olivia Blander |
| Born in 1976, Olivia first began her musical studies in the Ottawa area, on both the cello and the piano. She went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance at the Harid Conservatory in Florida, and received her Master's degree from Yale University where she studied with Aldo Parisot. Wile studying, she appeared frequently in recital on CBC radio, participated in the fellowship program at the Tanglewood Music Centre, and spent two summers at the Banff Centre for the Arts. After her graduation in 2000, Olivia enjoyed four months working with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra, and in September 2001 she joined the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. |

| The Harea String Quartet was formed in 1987 by violinist Ioan Harea with the sole purpose of providing high quality classical music for special events in Canada's Capital. |

| Represented exclusively by Virtuosi Productions, the Harea String Quartet is now considered Ottawa's foremost background music ensemble. Thanks to the fine leadership of violinist Ioan Harea, the artistic dedication of all of its members and superb arrangements by Matthew Naughtin, the Harea String Quartet has elevated the performance of background music to artistic levels. |

The Harea String Quartet is the core of Virtuosi Strings which performs at the State dinners hosted by the Prime Minister of Canada. |
